Utilization Review


Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Bhupendra K. Gupta, M.D., provides peer review services in cases pertaining to injured workers. This review determines whether healthcare services provided were reasonable, appropriate, and/or medically necessary.

A thorough record review is completed, and once the evaluation process is finished, a written case report is prepared, signed, and returned, in an agreed upon timely manner.

The peer review will evaluate health care services provided to injured workers, and will help resolve disputes about these services.

By training, certification, and experience, Bhupendra K. Gupta, M.D., also provides peer reviews in post-surgical care, and physical therapy.
